CHINA CULTURAL LANDSCAPES

My dissertation investigates the core elements of Chinese Soft Power through exploration of China Cultural Landscapes, and to identify Cultural Landscapes as a potential source of Chinese Soft Power and for building China’s nation brand. The China model is unprecedented in history, as the largest developing country, ranked number one in world population, has the fourth biggest landmass in the world after that of Russia Federation, Canada, and the United States, has grown so quickly in such a number of ways, now being the second largest economy in the world contributed 31.60% to world economic growth between 2013-2016 (China SCIO August 3, 2017) ahead of United States and Europe combined. China’s rapid transformation from a developing economy into an emerging global power is one of the most consequential factors in twenty-first-century international politics.
